Entrepreneur's
Boot Camp

Program Description: Entrepreneur's Boot Camp is designed to create an environment, an infrastructure, and a process to assist those in career transition to think outside of the box regarding options and possibilities for self-employment and creation of new businesses and companies.  The program is facilitated by a professional counselor and facilitator. Mentoring and ancillary resources are provided by successful entrepreneurs and business leaders.
Rationale

The last great economic transition occurred in the early nineties when we moved from a manufacturing economy to an information and service economy. Despite this transition, however, the typical opportunity was a corporate job.

We believe that the age of the corporate job for a vast majority of American workers is past. We believe that the current transition is from an information/service corporate based economy to an entrepreneurial economy.

Those who will not only survive the current downturn but succeed because of it, are those who are able to think outside of the box and discover their inner entrepreneur. We believe that most people have dreams, abilities, and experience that can be utilized to create a successful business idea. Those who are able to define, develop, and implement these ideas will be extremely successful and prosperous over time, with proper guidance and mentoring.

The Process

Entrepreneur's Boot Camp begins with a brainstorming process to help participants gradually open up their ability to see new possibilities, formulas, structures and strategies for business that will be especially marketable in the current economic climate.

Participants are asked to commit to the process in phases. At the end of each phase, participants have the opportunity to re-assess their continuation in the project. Those who choose to remain in the program through to the implementation phase will be owners of a new business venture that emerges from the brainstorming and development process.

Participants are asked to commit to a minimal fee as their "skin" in the game, and will be responsible for their own transportation and ancillary costs related to the program, however no substantial fees will be collected from participants unless or until their project becomes profitable.
