The Glass...

..is always half-full
-and  if there's only a few
drops of water in that it is still not
empty.
-and even if it's empty, there's
room to be filled to overflowing.

If you make it half-empty, it might
as well be full-- it wouldn't matter.
For fear of emptiness you would refuse
to drink. And
if you drink when thirst
overwhelms you, you wouldn't share.

If the glass is half-empty you focus on
    loss, scarcity,  on the "can't,"
"dont," "isn't," "won't," you are
defeated before the game has
been played. This is unbelief.

If the glass is half-full, you are
    open to redemption, mystery, miracle,
abundance, success.

Your glass may be almost empty, empty,
you may not even have a glass
but you know there are lots of
glasses. They
are easy to find,
cheap or free to obtain, easily
filled, from  a bevvy of sources.
This is faith!

Lord, I believe; help me in my unbelief!

I am more convinced than ever
that we, I, you, everyone, anyone
holds the power, the ab ility, the
secret deep within, at the core* of
our/their/your Being to Be and to
Do... anything we believe we
can do if we want to do it
more than anything, and are
willing and committed to do whatever
it takes for as long as it takes to
succeed.

It may take a lifetime or only
           a moment,  but belief at
the Core, combined  with
the hunger, the desire, and the
passion to act,
             to persist,
             to focus,
             to attack all doubt and
                           all distraction,
             to separate oneself from
                           all detractors,
             and to live,
                   to plan,
                   and relate
            AS IF
success has already been attained.
