The Sea
is my theology.
A drama of mood and motion,
curve and foam in
bodies of ocean repeat in
concert with the mind, the
wind and with one spiritual voice repeat, an
ancient song:
the sound of all souls
breathing.
I believe each wave has a soul.
I watch waves arise and
burst with being, and
being accelerates with
form. The
lifetime of each wave is like our own:
from birth to death the full cycle of a cosmic breath.
Waves arise and burst
with being,
emerge as
separate selves and
then...
diffused into
the larger
self.
